Friday: We woke up to see the rain had already come and the sun was shining.  One job this AM was to help give out medical supplies courtesy of Sweden.  People were lined up 2 hours before we opened the gates, to receive wheelchairs, walkers, etc.  They are told about Hope Center being a Christ centered facility and are encouraged to find a good church to learn about our Savior.  Handicapped people receive no govt help and are so thankful to receive this equipment.

In the afternoon Barb was able to go with Jenya and Anya to visit some of the people receiving the medical equipment, to hear and document their stories.  They have such hard lives, some who can't walk and live on the 4th floor of a building with no elevators.  One picture is of us trying to find an apartment and one is visiting a lady with a severely handicapped daughter.

Rachel and Barb continued ironing bedding and then learned to mop floors with a towel.  We are getting the building ready for the Dream Project girls. Dan is painting in that same building, frustrated with how many coats of paint are needed.

Projects continued on the laundry/shower building, including some plumbing and more concrete prep.  Fortunately we have some young strong men helping.  Rachel said she didn't know we could be so much fun, and no one has had a heart attack (referring to our age)!  She is so sweet!

Rachel worked with the guys all afternoon, actually out-working some of them!  We are having a great time serving the Lord in Ukraine.
